Realme 8 Pro is receiving a new software update that mainly brings May 2021 security patch for system security enhancements. The update is based on Android 11 OS and rolling out with firmware version RMX3081_11_A.33.
In addition to a new security patch, the latest update fixes black screen issue in some scenarios, and some other known issues which are not detailed in the changelog. It also improves the system stability for a better user experience.
As usual, the update is rolling out in a phased manner, which means that a small percentage of Realme 8 Pro users will initially receive the update and then a broader rollout in the coming days, if no critical bugs are found. To manually check for the latest update, navigate to Settings >> Software updates. If an update is available, then download & install, otherwise wait for a couple of days to let the update hit your smartphone. You will also receive a popup notification for the same.
