Samsung Galaxy A02 bags Brazilian Anatel certification, reveals 5,000mAh battery

Samsung is gearing up to launch a new entry-level device dubbed Galaxy A02. The device has now been spotted on Brazilian Anatel certification with model number SM-A025M. The certification confirms the moniker and reveals some key details about the Galaxy A02. Have a look at the certification.

The certification reveals that the Galaxy A02 has a battery model number HQ-50S and charger model number EP-TA200B. The battery model HQ-50S recently appeared on TUV Rheinland certification which shows a rated battery of 4,900mAh and a 5,000mAh typical capacity. So, the device will be marketed as having a 5,000mAh battery.

The charging model number EP-TA200B is already listed on SGS Fimko certification. It reveals that the Galaxy A02 supports either 10W (outputs 5V at 2A) or 15W (outputs 9V at 1.67A) charging speed. The support page of the Samsung Galaxy A02 (SM-A025M) is now live on the official website. Hence, it seems the launch is not too far from here.

The Galaxy A02 is expected to come with a 5.7-inch LCD display, Snapdragon 450 chipset, a decent 3,500mAh battery, 13MP dual rear camera, and a microSD card slot for additional storage.
