Samsung has launched another A-series smartphone in India called Samsung Galaxy A20s. It’s a budget segment device that comes with decent specifications with a good looking design, triple rear camera setup, etc. The handset is available for sale on both online and offline markets at Rs.11,999 onwards. Additionally, the A-series devices are bigger battery centric that offers a good battery backup than other budget segment Galaxy devices.
Samsung Galaxy A20s Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A20s comes with an Infinity-V 6.5-inches IPS LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1560 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor, coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of expandable storage.
It packs a triple rear camera setup of a 13MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor along with HDR, panorama, portrait mode, etc. While the front features an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie sensor with AI modes like AI Portrait, AI Face Unlock, etc.
The handset runs on Android 9 Pie based on One UI out-of-the-box and packs a bigger 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. It offers dual Nano-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. All other major sensors are available on this device including a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Price and Availability
The A20s priced at Rs.11,999 for the base 3GB/32GB variant and Rs.13,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant. The device will compete with Realme 3 Pro, Vivo Z1 Pro, and Redmi Note 7 Pro in this price range. However, Samsung providing quite outdated and less powerful chipset in terms of the other affordable devices. The choice only depends on the consumer.
