According to a report from Sammyfans, the Galaxy A22 4G is receiving the January 2022 security patch with the latest update. It has a download size of just above 200MB. The latest security patch fixes dozens of vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is reportedly receiving the January update in Brazil. It will expand to other regions over the next few days. Users who are still waiting for the update should manually check the status using the steps mentioned at the bottom of this article.
The midrange Galaxy A22 4G was launched last year with Android 11 out of the box. And, the device is eligible to receive the next major OS upgrade – Android 12. According to the company’s official roadmap, the device will receive the update in June this year.
