Samsung starts rolling out May 2021 security patch to Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G. It is more than just a new security patch update as it brings a new feature and a couple of improvements.
The latest update for Galaxy A52 and A52 5G is currently rolling out in Europe with firmware versions A525xXXU2AUE1 and A526BXXU2AUE1 respectively. But, it should not take too launch to reach other regions. In addition to May security patch, the update brings video call effects, which allows using a custom background image in video calls via apps like Zoom, Duo, etc.
The update brings improvements to – Quick Share file transfer, Camera performance, Touch screen stability, and improves Call quality. If you’re a Galaxy A52 or A52 5G user in Europe and have not received the update yet, then manually update your phone by navigating to Settings >> Software updates and then tap on “Download and install“, if the package is available. Otherwise, wait for a couple of days to let the update hit your phone.
