Samsung Galaxy Fold gets Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update in the US

Samsung Galaxy Fold was launched back in 2019 with Android 9 Pie OS. Later the device got its first major OS upgrade in the form of Android 10. Now, the Galaxy Fold is grabbing yet another major OS upgrade in the US.

The Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update is already live in select regions and now expanding to the US. It is rolling out with firmware version F900U1UEU4DUA3. In addition to the Android 11 and One UI 3.0 features, the update also installs the latest Android monthly security patch i.e. February 2021 security patch.

The update brings tons of new features like chat bubbles, dedicated media playback widget, a separate conversation area, and security improvements, an improved User interface, fast widget access, and more.

To update your Galaxy Fold with the latest build, head to Settings -> Software update and then tap on Download and install. It’s worth mentioning that Galaxy Fold is eligible to receive one more major OS upgrade.
