Whether it is a new security patch or a major OS upgrade, Samsung has been killing it with its software rollout speed. This week has been tremendous for Samsung users, as the company started rolling out Android 12 update to Galaxy S20 series, Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3, Galaxy Fold, and more. It has now added Galaxy S10 5G onto the Android 12 list with the latest update.
As reported by Sammobile, the Galaxy S10 5G users have now started picking up the One UI 4.0 skin, which is based on Android 12. It is currently rolling out in Switzerland, tagged with the firmware version G977BXXUBGULB. Assuming that the update does not include any critical bugs/issues, it is likely to expand to more regions over the next few days.
Android 12 rollout speed from Samsung is so impressive. The company seems to be focused on releasing the update to eligible devices as quickly as possible. In addition to the One UI 4.0 and Android 12 goodies, the Galaxy S10 5G is also getting the December 2021 security patch with the latest build.
Galaxy S10 5G was launched in 2019 running Android 9 Pie. The same year, it received Android 10 upgrade and earlier this year, it got upgraded to Android 11 OS. Now, the South Korean tech giant has surprisingly released another OS upgrade to a two-year-old Galaxy S10 5G. It’s a new year’s gift from Samsung.
