Samsung Galaxy S21 was the first phone from the company to taste the One UI 4.0 beta, which started in September. Now, it seems that the beta program for Galaxy S21 series has come to an end, as users have started picking up the first public build.
The Android-12 based One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy S21 series is reportedly rolling out in select regions. It will gradually expand to more regions in the coming weeks. Samsung is pretty good at rolling out software updates, and that’s what we are now seeing here.
The One UI 4.0 skin from Samsung brings loads of new features and improvements. Some of these notable features include a color theme – It set up a system-wide color based on the dominant color in the wallpaper you are using. RAM Plus feature allows you to use internal memory to give an additional boost to the device.
The typical accuracy of the Samsung keyboard is said to have improved. Apart from the design part, the Android 12 also has a major focus on privacy and security. Now, users will see a microphone/camera/location icon at the top of the status bar, whenever an app uses any of these.
Samsung Galaxy S21 series have now started receiving the One UI 4.0 public build. Soon, the company will start pushing the Android 12 OS upgrade to more of its recently-launched high-end devices.
