Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro gets Android 11 (One UI 3.1) update

Samsung released the Galaxy Tab Active Pro back in 2019 with Android 9 Pie onboard. Last year, it got upgraded to Android 10 and now, the company is sending another major OS upgrade to Galaxy Tab Active Pro which brings Android 11. The new software update comes with the latest One UI 3.1 skin, which adds some new features, in addition to the Android 11 core features.

Samsung is sending Android 11 update for Galaxy Tab Active Pro users in Thailand. It can be identified by firmware version T545XXU3CUF7_B2BF. The new OTA update should reach all the remaining regions over the next few weeks. 

As for the changes, the new software update brings a host of new features to the Galaxy Tab Active Pro which includes chat bubbles, a refreshed UI, smart device control panels, more Dynamic lock screen options, improved Digital Wellbeing, Quick Panel improvements, and brings security improvements like one-time permission and permission auto-reset feature for apps that require access to mic, camera, and location.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro users who are yet to receive the Android 11 update yet, can manually check for the latest build by navigating to Settings >> Software updates and then tap on Download and Install.
