The South Korean tech giant Samsung has started rolling out the latest February 2024 security patch level update to its wide range of Galaxy smartphones and tablet devices in a couple of weeks.
Though the security patch updates rolled through OTA in batches, most of the users received the same in various regions one by one. Meanwhile, it looks like Samsung has released the latest February 2024 Security Update for Galaxy M53 devices in India.
The specific software update brings the overall device stability and fixes some common bugs. Though no major features were added, the security risk vulnerabilities are fixed by Google and Samsung for the Galaxy devices. The February 2024 update will soon hit the rest of the Galaxy devices which are still not received.
In addition, the March 2024 security patch rollout has also started with the Galaxy S24 series that we’ve already posted earlier. It indicates that more eligible Galaxy models will soon receive the March 2024 patch level in the upcoming weeks.
The Galaxy M53 February 2024 security update consists of a build version M536BXXS5DXB5 with One UI 6. This update package size is around 247.09MB which you can download via OTA. As the software updates roll via the OTA (over-the-air) method, it may take some time to reach every single unit in the region.
Therefore, we’re expecting you to have some patience with the update notification. Meanwhile, you can manually check and install the update on your handset via Settings > Software Update > Download & Install. You should wait for the software update to get installed completely on the handset.
