Samsung rolls out the February 2024 Security Update for the Galaxy S22 Series in India and Korea

Samsung has already started rolling out the latest February 2024 improvement update and security patch updates to all eligible Galaxy devices. Now, the February 2024 Security Update for the Galaxy S22 series devices also starts rolling out in India.

This specific Feb 2024 release includes overall system security and stability improvements with some bug fixes. The Indian variant of Galaxy S22 series model owners will receive the OTA update notification that brings the build version S90xEXXS7DXB5.

The latest update file size is around 400MB to be installed based on Android 14 with the One UI 6.0 skin.

A couple of weeks ago, Samsung postponed the February 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22 devices in Korea due to some development changes.

But at the time of covering this article, the OEM has started pushing the Feb 2024 security patch update to the Korean variant of Samsung Galaxy S22 devices respective to the carrier channels.

If we take a quick look at the Korean variant update, the respective build versions are mentioned such as Samsung Galaxy S22 – S901NKSS3DXAH, Galaxy S22 Plus – S906NKSS3DXAH, and Galaxy S22 Ultra – S908NKSS3DXAH with One UI 6.

The Korean variant users will have to download the file size around 451.29MB using Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Follow the on-screen instructions and wait for the update to get installed.

As usual, this latest Feb 2024 security patch includes system security and stability enhancements which will increase the overall performance.

Once done, reboot the device to apply the changes. If you’re not getting the software OTA update then ensure to check the Samsung stock firmware installation guide and flash the latest software.
