Samsung starts testing One UI 5.0 on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4

In the last few days, Samsung has been busy pushing the latest software updates for its devices, with some of them getting monthly updates and others getting major One UI-based software updates.

Recently, Samsung has started rolling out the much-awaited software update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series owners. The One UI 5.0 Beta 3 Update has now become available for the Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra users in India, Germany, and China. Meanwhile, Samsung has also been pushing the One UI 5.0 Beta 2 update for the Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21+, and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra for India, South Korea, and UK users.

Not just that, a few days ago, Samsung also announced that a few old devices in its portfolio will be receiving the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 software update. Samsung added that the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Tab S6 Series, and the Galaxy Tab 8 Series in many regions will be getting the update. The first devices to have received this update were the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 have also become eligible for the One UI 5.0 update based on the Android 13 firmware. The South Korean OEM also hints that the One UI 5.0 isn’t that far away for these two smartphones.

According to reports, the One UI 5.0 testing has now started for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices. For now, the One UI 5.0 testing has been spotted in South Korea with the firmware version F936NKSU1ZVID/F936NOKR1ZVID/F936NKSU1BVID for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and F721NKSU1ZVID/F721NOKR1ZVID/F721NKSU1BVID for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 respectively.
