Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 Powered Phones List

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is a chipset built on TSMC’s 4nm fabrication process, something that is also used in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It comes with a core layout similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 but features a lower clock frequency. This frequency is offset by the Adreno GPU, which Qualcomm claims to deliver up to 2x improved performance and will likely be more power-efficient than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.

Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2’s CPU comprises 1X Kryo Prime core based on ARM Cortex X2 technology, which clocks in at 2.91GHz, 3x Kryo Performance cores based on ARM Cortex A710 that clock in at 2.49GHz, and 4x Kryo Efficiency cores based on ARM Cortex A510 that clock in at 1.8GHz. The combination of the CPU core types provides balance power and efficiency.

The Adreno GPU is still unspecified and comes with support for Vulkan 1.1 and many Snapdragon Elite Gaming features, including Adreno Frame Motion Engine. It also supports video playback for various codecs, including Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Moreover, the chipset supports 10-bit color depth, HDR10, and HDR10+ on the display.

Moreover, it also features Qualcomm’s Spectra Triple 18-bit image signal processor capable of up to 200MP photo capture. This chipset can support up to 32MP triple camera at 30FPS, up to 64MP + 36MP dual camera at 30FPS, and up to 108MP single camera at 30 FPS.
