Verizon Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra Get December 2020 security update which fixes bugs

Verizon Wireless, one of the largest carriers in the world has started rolling out December 2020 security patch update to Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. The latest update brings build version N981USQU1CTLA to Galaxy Note 20 5G and N986USQU1CTLA to Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G.

These updates are incremental updates which fix various bugs and improves the stability of the system. Along with the bug fixes, it also enhances the device’s security by integrating the newer security patch.

The new update brings the latest security patch update to the device. It improves the stability and performance of the device. The updates are being released as OTAs. You can manually check for the update from Settings > Software update >Download updates manually. If there is no update showing on your device, then wait for few days for the update to come to your device as it is being released phase-wise manner or you can manually flash the full firmware using Odin Flash Tool.

Both the Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra have been getting regular security path updates. The devices have previously received the November 2020 patch update and now these are getting the latest December 2020 security patch update.
