It was just yesterday, a retail box image of Xiaomi Mi 11 was leaked, which suggested that the phone may ship without a charger in the box. Today, Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun has officially confirmed that Mi 11 retail box will not include a charger.
He wrote that “In response to the call of technology and environmental protection, the included charger is cancelled from the box.” Xiaomi is following similar kind of strategy which Apple used with iPhone 12 series. He also teased the retail box image which reveals some key details of the phone.
The retail box image confirms that Mi 11 will feature a 108-megapixel primary shooter. It has a Super AMOLED panel that supports HDR10+. The sound system is developed by Harman Kardon.
Xiaomi is expected to unveil two smartphones under Mi 11 series that are vanilla Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro. From the past leaks, we already know how Mi 11 will look like. It will be the first smartphone to launch with Snapdragon 888 chipset. The company has already teased some key details of the Mi 11 which are computational photography, a very high quality screen, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
