Xiaomi Watch Color launched with AMOLED display, GPS, NFC, and more

Xiaomi has launched its new smartwatch in China called Xiaomi Watch Color at a price tag of Yuan 799 (Rs.8200 approx). The smartwatch comes in three colors such as Black, Gold, and Silver. It will be available for sale via Mi.com and Xiaomi Youpin site. Xiaomi has claimed that the smartwatch will track 10 sports mode, stress & sleep monitoring, all-day heart rate tracking features. While it also offers NFC support for making payments in China and can last up to 14 days on a single charge.

Though the smartwatch and its price range seem promising, there is no confirmation about availability in other regions right now. Xiaomi may launch a rebranded smartwatch of this model for global market. We have to wait for that.

Xiaomi Watch Color Specifications

The smartwatch comes with a 1.39″ AMOLED display with the 454×454 pixels resolution, at a pixel density of 326ppi. The display has a 47mm diameter and protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It packs a 420mAh battery and due to AMOLED display, it can go up to 14 days after fully charging. Meanwhile, the smartwatch also features a 5ATM water resistance rating which can be functional even in minus 10-degree celsius.

The Mi Watch Color features GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, etc. While it has an accelerometer, barometer, gyro, compass, and ambient light sensor. The device runs on MIUI Watch Interface based on Android’s Wear OS. Xiaomi has also implemented the built-in Xiao AI assistant with Voice Support for making the tasks easier for the Chinese users. There are more than 100 watch faces available to keep updated the watch interface depending on your preference or mood.

As mentioned, the smartwatch supports heart rate monitoring, stress monitoring, and sleep tracking as well. Mi Watch Color features 10 sports modes such as running, cycling, swimming, treadmill, etc. The Bluetooth connectivity ensures the phone notifications on your smartwatch with ease.
