Android 12 update officially goes live for LG Velvet LTE, LG Q92 5G, and LG V50S ThinQ

Android 12 OS has started rolling out for the LG Velvet LTE, LV V50S ThinQ, and LG Q92 5G users. In this article, you’ll get to know all about the Android 12 Updates for the three LG devices.

LG V50S ThinQ has started receiving the Android 12 Update in Vietnam and it comes with the firmware version V510N40b. The update will increase the security patch to April 2022. Many users have been receiving the update and it’ll be available for other regions soon.

  • The device has been updated to Android 12 OS
  • A new function to restrict/allow camera/microphone use is added to protect personal information
  • For privacy protection, a green icon will be displayed at the top of the screen while the microphone/camera is in use
