April 2021 security update rolling out for Realme C12

Realme is sending a new software update to Realme C12 users in India. The new update is still based on Android 10 and brings April 2021 security patch for better system protection. 

The update can be identified by firmware version RMX2189_11_A.93. In addition to a new security patch, it fixes some known issues and improves system stability. As mentioned earlier, It is currently rolling out in India and will make its way to other regions pretty soon.

Realme C12 is eligible to receive the company’s latest skin, Realme UI 2.0 which is based on Android 11. The company has already started Realme UI 2.0 beta program for the C12 users in India. So, the users can expect to receive a stable update in the near future.

Realme seems to be taking good care of its budget C-series smartphones in terms of software update. The April 2021 security update recently released for Realme C11, C15 and now reaching C12 users. 

Realme C12 users in India who are still waiting for April 2021 security patch can manually check the status by navigating to Settings >> Software updates.
