Realme starts pushing the March 2022 Security Update for Realme C12 devices in India

Realme has started rolling out the latest March 2022 Security Update in India and it’ll come with many bug fixes and improvements. The new update will feature the March 2022 Android Security patch and while there is no new feature added, there will be optimizations for the dual-mode audio function as well as fixes for the Android icon appearing on the home screen after installing an app from Google Play. The update can easily be identified as it comes with the build number RMX2189_11_C.11 and it is being rolled out over the air.

Realme has started pushing out the March 2022 Security update for Realme C12 users in India. The latest March 2022 Security updates will come with the fix for various privacy and security-related vulnerabilities for the device.

The new update for the Realme C12 handsets will come with the build number RMX2189_11_C.11 and has already started to be rolled out in batches. The update improves system performance and stability while also optimizing the dual-mode audio function. Further, it’ll fix the issue where the Android icon was appearing on the home screen after installing an app from Google Play.

How to update your Realme C12?

You can manually download and install this update by going to your device’s settings. For doing that, follow these simple instructions –

  • Open the Settings
  • Click on System and Updates
  • Now, open Software Update
  • Tap on the option Check for Updates
  • If the update is available, simply click on Download and Install
  • Once the installation is finished, reboot your Realme C12

Alternatively, you could manually request software updates through the “My Huawei” app. In order to do that, open the “My Huawei app”, tap on the “Update” option, then select the “Check for Updates” option, and finally “Download and Install”.
