Asus Zenfone 3 Max gets ZenUI 4.0 OTA update: Asus released the latest lineup of smartphones in the Zenfone series for 2017 which has been named as the Asus Zenfone 4 series which saw the launch of many smartphones. However, Asus launched the Asus Zenfone 3 series last year and this series also consists of many smartphones in the premium as well as budget price range. Now, one of the smartphones to be launched in the Asus Zenfone 3 series that is creating a lot of buzz is the Asus Zenfone 3 Max which has been popular for the huge battery capacity.

Now, we have also known that Asus has been launching all its smartphones with the Asus’s custom Android skin which is named as ZenUI. Now, there have been a lot of updates since the launch of ZenUI and we have known that the latest version of ZenUI has been released by Asus versioned as ZenUI 4.0. Now, the Zenfone 3 Max which was launched by Asus was not updated to the latest version of ZenUI until now but this has been changed now as the smartphone is getting a new update which brings the latest ZenUI 4.0 to the Asus Zenfone 3 Max.

Now, as far as the update is concerned, we would like to mention that the latest Zenfone 3 Max update comes with the build V14.0200.1712.347. Apart from the update to ZenUI which has been upgraded to v4.0, we would also like to mention that the latest security patch from December has also been included with this update which means that this update comes with security improvements also. Now, you will receive the update automatically on your Zenfone 3 Max as the update comes via an OTA update. Make sure to check your notifications to see if the OTA has already been available on your device and install the update if it is available to get the latest security updates.

Asus Zenfone 3 Max gets ZenUI 4.0 OTA update

You can manually check for the OTA update from Settings > About Phone/Device >Software Update.If there is no update showing on your device, then wait for few days for the update to come to your device as it is being released phase wise manner.

Note:

Before installing the updates, make sure your device is connected to a good wifi and your device has more than 50 percent battery life remaining
