Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has started getting another bug fix update. The Redmi Note 5 has started receiving the latest V10.2.1.0.OEIMIXM Stable ROM. Recently Xiaomi has released MIUI 10 (8-12-13) Update for Xiaomi Devices. If you are not a developer or beta tester then stable ROM is what you need. As this is a Beta stable ROM, so only beta testers will get the OTA. These ROMs are beta stable so there may be few bugs available.
As I clearly mentioned above, it is a bug fix update and it addresses the most common camera related issues which were present in the previous builds. Along with the fixes to camera related issues, it also brings some small new features. The file explorer thumbnails refresh issue has also been fixed in this build.
The update is being rolled out via OTA (Over-the-air) will bring all the features of the latest MIUI 10 and will also come with a lot of improvements. All the users of Redmi Note 5 will be receiving a Notification pop up once the update is available in their region (Beta users only). This is a very important update so we recommend users to update their devices to this update. The ROM is based on Android Oreo.

If your device is not rooted, then your device may have received the update. You can manually check whether the update is available in your region or not. Go to Settings –> About Phone –> Check for Software Update. The update will be available across the globe but as it is being rolled out in a phased manner, it may take some time to be available in every region, but if you want you can manually Download and Install Redmi Note 5 MIUI 10.2.1 Beta Stable ROM.
