How to Unlock YouTube Background Playback on Samsung Devices
- Install Good Guardians
Install Good Guardians from the Galaxy Store on your Samsung device. This module is gateway to the YouTube Background Playback workaround. - Download the Battery Guardian Module
Once Good Guardians is successfully installed proceed to download the Battery Guardian module. This module will provide the necessary tools to enable the feature. - Activate Screen Curtain
Within the Battery Guardian module you will find the invaluable Screen Curtain feature. Activate this feature either through the quick setting tile or by using the Power + Volume Up key combination. - Enjoy YouTube Background Playback
With Screen Curtain active you will notice an always on display on your screen. This display provides essential information such as the current time, running apps and battery percentage. It also allows YouTube video to continue playing in the background. You can now enjoy YouTube Background Playback even when screen is off or while using other apps. - Exiting Screen Curtain
To exit this mode and return to regular device usage simply press the Power key or double-tap your screen. This will restore your device to its standard functionality.
