Samsung Galaxy Note 10 & Galaxy S10 receive January 2020 security patch

Samsung is on a roll. Now the Korean giant has started rolling out January 2020 security patch update to Samsung Galaxy Note 10 & Galaxy S10. The Global Exynos Galaxy Note 10 gets the latest security patch with build number BSLD and baseband version N95FXXU1BSL4. Samsung has already updated the Galaxy Note 10 to official Stable Android 10 just a  few days ago. The new update is also live for the snapdragon variant but the security patch here is of December 2019.

The Galaxy S10 has also received the latest January 2020 security patch update. The update is rolling for the global Exynos variant of the device. The update is carrying baseband version BSL4. The update is being rolled out as an OTA update. The latest update addresses some bugs and optimizes the performance of the device.

If you’re using an Exynos Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy S10 then you should receive the OTA update very soon. Otherwise, you can check for the OTA update manually in order to get notified. Just go to the device Settings menu > select the Software Update > tap on the Download and Install option.
