Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 users get July 2022 Security Patch!

Samsung has been busy pushing the Android August 2022 Security Update for its latest flagship models. Two more devices to have received updates include Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 handsets. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 have received their first software update in the United States and it includes the July 2022 Security Patch. The July 2022 Security Update includes fixes for dozens of privacy and security-related vulnerabilities including 3 critical and 20 high vulnerabilities.

Changelog for the July 2022 Security Patch Update

The new update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 devices comes with many bug fixes and new features. The update comes with the version numbers F936USQU1AVGA and F721USQU1AVGA for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 respectively.

The July 2022 Security Patch comes with fixes for dozens of privacy and security-related vulnerabilities, including 3 critical issues and over 20 high vulnerabilities. The update also comes with performance improvements and updates to Google Meet. Moreover, Google will be upgrading the Duo experience to include the Google Meet Features. Google Duo would be replaced by the new Google Meet app, which is available for download from the Google Play Store.

  • Reboot your device and once your device restarts, you can enjoy the new update
