Honor Play 4T snaps up the new December 2021 Security Patch update

Honor Play 4T has officially started receiving the new security update that features December 2021 Security Patch for improved system security. The update will come with the new Magic UI 3.1 version 3.1.0.159, which is an upgrade from the 3.1.0.158 version. Honor Play 4T was launched initially with Magic UI 2 software that was based on Android 10 and it currently runs on Magic UI 3.1. While the brand hasn’t sent the Magic UI 4update nor upgraded the HarmonyOS, but they are continuously releasing monthly software updates.

The December 2021 security update for Honor Play 4T will install the new security patches, increasing the security of the smartphone against CVEs and protecting the user’s personal data. Moreover, this update will fix 15 high, 2 critical, and 38 CVEs found in the system. Additionally, it’ll also resolve 29 CVEs in the third-party libraries.
