Extract the Asus Zenfone 9 stock boot.img file

  2. Ensure that you’re downloading the same version that is currently installed on your device
  3. Once you’ve downloaded the file, extract it to a convenient location on your PC
  4. You’ll be getting a couple of files, including the payload.bin, which you’ll need to extract to get the boot.img file
  5. Once you’ve extracted the file, copy the boot.img file and transfer it to your device

Patch the Asus Zenfone 9 stock boot.img file via Magisk

  1. Download and install the newest version of the Magisk app
  2. Launch it and tap on the Install button beside Magisk
