Huawei Mate 40 gets a new EMUI 11 update with EMUI 11.0.0.160 SP1

Huawei has started rolling out a new incremental update to Huawei Mate 40. The update brings EMUI 11 build version 11.0.0.160 SP1 to the device.

The update is based on EMUI 11 and the firmware version bumps from 11.0.0.120SP1 to 11.0.0.160 SP1. The update is currently being rolled in a phased manner. The update aims to provide a better user experience by improving system stability. The update brings optimization to the fingerprint unlock experience.

Meanwhile, you can manually check for the update. If you own the device, you can manually check for the update, Go to System > Software update > Check for updates.
