Huawei recently updated Nova 5 series with April 2021 security patch and now rolling out the same security patch update to Nova 6 series phones. Although this is not the latest security patch, but it fixes a number of security vulnerabilities.
The Huawei Nova 6 series consists of 3 smartphones: Nova 6, Nova 6 5G, and Nova 6 SE. The Nova 6 SE is currently running on EMUI 10.1, while the Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G are running EMUI 11.
Keeping the device updated with the latest security patch is always a good thing as it protects your device from security vulnerabilities. The April 2021 security patch fixes 17 High levels and 69 Medium levels of CVE’s (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures).
