Huawei Nova 7i EMUI 10.1 update goes live in Srilanka with version 10.1.0.208

The latest EMUI 10.1 update for Huawei Nove 7i has been released in Srilanka. The latest OTA comes with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.208. The update size is around 2.03GB. The update brings May 2020 security patch to the device with the update

As this is a major update, there are loads of new features added to the new build. You can read the changelog below. Apart from all the new features, the update brings security and performance enhancement. The update also improves the stability of the device.

As per the earlier reports, the update is currently being rolled in Indonesia OTA (Over-the-air). Just like any other update, it has been rolled out in a phased manner, so it may take up to a few days for the update to be available on all handsets.

Allows you to multitask with ease in Split-screen mode, and send messages using a floating window while watching videos or playing games. Swipe in from the left or right edge of the screen and pause to display the Multi-Window dock. Hold an app icon in the dock and drag it to the side of the screen to enter split-screen view, or touch an app icon to display it in a floating window.

Dark mode:

Added Dark Mode support for more third-party apps.

Privacy Compliance Certificate:

EMUI has obtained ISO/IEC 27701 certification.

Security:

Integrates Android security patches released in May 2020 for improved system security.

System performance:

Optimizes the deterministic latency engine to provide you with a smoother system user experience.
