Indian Galaxy S21 series gets March 2024 security update

Samsung S21 series users in India have started getting the latest March 2024 security update. The update brings the latest security patch and stability improvements to the devices.

All three devices (Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra) are receiving the update with build number. The update is currently being rolled out in phases in India. Some users have started getting the update on their devices. The One UI build number of these updates are as follows:

The update comes with One UI 6.0 based on Android 14. It’s an security update so there is nothing major changes we are expecting from it. The update is around 250MB. The size of the update will vary from devices to device. The same update has already been rolled out in the US and Malaysia.

How to check for the update

To get the latest update on your Galaxy S21 series, simply go to your Galaxy Settings. From there, proceed to the Software update section and tap on the Download and install option. From there you can start downloading the new firmware. Once the firmware is downloaded, you can install it from there.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series was launched in 2021 with Android 11 and It will be getting Android 15 based One UI 6.1 in coming months. One UI 6.1 beta testing is already going on for these devices.
