LG G7 ThinQ has been updated to the latest Google’s march 2020 security patch update. The update comes with the software version V20n. The update weighs in around 670 MB in size. The Indian Model is getting the version v20n-MAR-10-2020.
This is not a major update but WiFi calling a.k.a VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi) support has been added. In case you don’t know about VoWiFi, this feature uses the WiFi connection to improve the call quality (using the internet).
If you’re an LG G7 ThinQ user and waiting for VoWiFi support then you can check for the OTA update notification on your device manually. As the OTA update always roll-out in batches, it should take a couple of days or so to arrive at all the units. Head over to the device Settings -> About Phone -> Software Updates -> Check for Update -> Download Now.
Changelog
- Phone usability and functionality has been further improved.
- VoWiFi has been added.
