Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for its Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones in Korea. This update is based on Android 14 and brings a host of new AI-enhanced features that make these devices smarter and more intuitive. On the other hand, Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 series devices have also received this major update.
The update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes with a PDA version ending in FXDC and has a size of about 2.7GB. For the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, the update versions are F926NKSU2IXDC and F711NKSU3IXDC, respectively. The update size is slightly smaller at 2.4GB.
One UI 6.1 introduces several AI-powered tools such as Circle to Search, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translate, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, and Generative Edit. These features improve user experience by making the devices easier to use and more helpful.
To manually check for this update on your Galaxy device, you can:
- Go to System Settings
- Scroll to and tap Software update
- Click Download and install
If the update is available, you can install it to access the new features and improvements. The update is now live in Korea and will be available in other regions soon.
