Earlier, OnePlus decided to launch the ColorOS 12 upgrade public test for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro users. The bottom layer of this update is based on the Android 12 version. The official version launched last week and OnePlus users will be receiving it soon.
The new ColorOS 12 stable update for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro users will be available on build number C.36 via OTA. this means you can easily download it by going to the software update section. The ColorOS 12 update will be based on Android 12 and the update method of this one will be slightly more special and Color OS 12 Public BETA users will no longer have to click on early adopters to apply, which means they will directly receive an OTA push. Meanwhile, ordinary users of the official version will have to apply for some upgrades and early adopters.

How to apply for the ColorOS 12 update?
You must ensure that the phone version has been upgraded to the basic version A.12. If you’re not sure how to check the current version number, you can simply go to the Settings -> About Phone -> Version Information -> Version number.
To upgrade to the new ColorOS 12, following these simple steps –
- Click on the Settings
- Go to the Software Update
- Look for the Settings button located in the upper right corner
- Visit upgrade early adopters
- Then move to the Official version applications and check the “I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy”
- Click on “Apply Now” and click on “Check” after completing the application update
- Check if the update is present and download it
- Install the update and upgrade your device to the new ColorOS 12
