OnePlus Nord N200 5G is finally getting the OxygenOS 12 (Android 12) update

OnePlus is rolling out the Android 12 update to one more Nord device. This time it’s the OnePlus Nord N200 5G which has now started receiving the stable OxygenOS 12 update in the US and Canada. It’s the first major OS upgrade for the device and unfortunately the last as OnePlus has only promised just one Android update for the Nord N200 5G.

OnePlus Nord N200 5G is one of the company’s cheapest 5G phones in the US. It was released in the first half of 2021 and users were keen to get a taste of Android 12, which is finally happening. Though Android 12 and OxygenOS 12 is the main highlight of the latest update, it also bumps the Android security patch level to May 2022.

The Android 12 update for OnePlus Nord N200 5G comes with C.15 build version. In addition to Android 12 core features, the update also brings new features and improvements from OxygenOS skin. Do check out the complete list of changes in the update log given below.

How to update?

OnePlus is rolling out the new software update in batches, so it might take a few days to reach all the users. For now, it is available in US and Canada, and hopefully, other regions will join the party soon. If you’re a Nord N200 5G user from that region, you may receive the update anytime soon. In case you’ve not received an update notification yet, navigate to Settings >> Software updates to check if the update is already available on your phone.

OnePlus has already confirmed that the Nord N200 5G will receive just one Android upgrade. So, Android 12 is the last major OS upgrade. However, the device will continue to receive security updates for a while.
