- Start by installing and setting up Shizuku on your smartphone
- After that, download and install the Carrier Vanity Name app
- You could use SAI or APKMirror installer for installing this app if the traditional method doesn’t work
- Now, open the Carrier Vanity app before tapping “Continue” and selecting “Allow All the Time” in the Shizuku prompt
- Type “us” in the ISO Country Code field before clicking Set [leave the first field blank]
- Force Stop the Thermometer app before clearing its data
- Open it and the body temperature feature will become available
- You will now be able to re-open the CVV app and then hit “Reset” to reset the ISO Country Code
- The Pixel 8 Pro Thermometer function would remain active until you reset the Thermometer app data
Method 2: The root method
- Start by installing a root-supported file manager like Solid Fire Manager
- After that, launch it and then go to the following location –
/data/data/com.google.android.apps.pixel.health/shared_prefs
- Then, create a new XML file here and name it “thermometer.xml”
- Open this XML file before pasting the following commands in it –
