Realme 7 and Realme Narzo 20 Pro are the company’s latest smartphones to receive the April 2022 security patch update. The latest software update fixes numerous vulnerabilities to enhance system security and privacy.
Realme is one of the very few smartphone manufacturers that regularly roll out security updates to its eligible devices. The April security patch has already reached dozens of Realme phones and the company continues to add more devices to the list.
The latest software update for Realme 7 carries firmware version RMX2151_11_C.17. For Realme Narzo 20 Pro, it is rolling out with the firmware version RMX2161_11_C.17. According to the changelog shared by RMupdate, the update brings April, as well as, March 2022 security patches for both the devices.
The devices are also getting improvements to system performance and stability with the new update. Hence, your device should feel a bit more responsive and fast after installing the update.
Once again, the new OTA update for Realme 7 and Realme Narzo 20 Pro is rolling out in a staged fashion. It means that the update will reach a limited number of users at first, followed by a broader rollout in the coming days. To manually check for new updates, head over to the Software update section under the Settings app.
