Realme X grabs December 2019 Security Patch Update {RMX1901EX_11_A.11 -Download}

The Realme X has started getting the latest December 2019 Security Patch Update in India region that brings new improvements and bug fixes in the system. Though users have to still wait for the ColorOS 7/Android 10 update. The current update brings software version RMX1901EX_11_A.11.

The update will bump the software version from A.10 to A.11. There is not much information about the bugs which are fixed. But according to the changelog (mention below), some partial known issues have been fixed with this update. The update is being released as an OTA and it weighs around 206 MBs in size.

Realme X is a mid-range device launched in 2019. It has a 6.53″ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, 4/6GB RAM, Quad rear cameras, 3,765 mAh battery, etc. The device comes running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and has been promised to get the stable Android 10 update in 2020.

You can manually check for the update. Just go to the Settings – Software update – Check for software update on your device whether a new software version is available or not.

Realme has already mentioned that all the OTA updates will roll-out in a staged manner. As expected, the OTA update will take a few days or more. After rolling over a limited number of users, when the update package found stable enough, it will spread over all the devices respectively.
