Redmi 8A Pro starts getting MIUI 12 update in Indonesia

Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 12 update for Redmi 8A Pro. The update is currently live for Indonesian users which comes with firmware version MIUI V12.0.1.0.QCQIDXM

In addition to the MIUI 12 features, the update also bumps the Android monthly security patch level to January 2021, thereby increasing the system security. The update weighs 1.8GB in size and rolling out as an OTA. To update your smartphone with the latest update, head to Settings -> About phone -> System update

MIUI 12 brings tons of new features such as a new control centre and notification shade, improved weather app, super wallpapers, floating windows, ultra battery saver mode, improved privacy, multitasking, and enhanced dark mode. 

We have also added a download link of the ROM, that requires manual installation, which we don’t recommend. So, proceed at your own risk.
