Xiaomi has been providing updates to its devices very frequently and many Redmi Note 7 Pro users have been waiting for the latest Android 10 update for the device and finally, the Chinese variant of the device has started receiving the Android 10 update along with the February 2020 security patch update.
Redmi Note 7 Pro is one of the most selling and popular Redmi devices of all time. It was the best selling smartphone in India which is one of the world’s largest mobile market and many users are still using Redmi Note 7 Pro as their daily driver. The device has a very big user base and Xiaomi knows this very well.
The company has been updating the device to the latest security patch updates and finally, a major Android update is being rolled to the device. The update is currently available in China. This is a Beta update and comes with the Chinese version of MIUI 11 20.3.4
The update brings all the features of Android 10 and as it is a beta update, there are few experimental features which may not make their ways to the final stable update which will come later. As this is a beta firmware we don’t recommend users to flash this on their primary device.
If your device is not rooted and currently using a beta Chinese ROM, then your device may have received the update. You can manually check whether the update is available in your region or not. Go to the Settings –> About Phone –> Check for Software Update. The update will be available across the globe but as it is being rolled out in a phased manner, it may take some time to be available in every region, but if you want you can manually install the latest MIUI update on your device
