Realme is not as fast as some other brands like Samsung when it comes to rolling out regular software updates. But, the company is quite promising in that department. Last month too, the company started June 2021 security update rollout in the second half of the month and then sped up the rollout.
Now, the company has started sending July 2021 security patch which is debuting on Realme X. The new software update is rolling out to those users who have installed Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) beta. It can be identified by firmware version RMX1901EX_11_F.0.
The new security patch should fix dozens of system security and privacy-related vulnerabilities. Additionally, the update fixes some known issues and improves system performance. The OTA update is rolling out to Realme X users in Italy and should reach other regions over the next few days. To manually check for the latest update, navigate to Settings >> Software update and then tap on Download and Install.
