Samsung has started rolling out the latest March 2024 security patch update to its eligible Galaxy devices and the Galaxy A53 receives March 2024 security update in multiple regions. While the OEM has pushed the same update to most of the high-end models, it’s time for the A-series devices. The update is arriving to all units via batches respective to the carriers.
It comes with the One UI 6.0 skin based on the firmware version A536EXXS8DXB5 in Latin American countries including Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Guatemala, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Trinidad, Paraguay, Peru, And Tobago, and Uruguay. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A53 device receives the build version A536NKSS4DXC1 in South Korea.
The latest March 2024 security patch update comes in around 258MB of package size which should be available for the Galaxy A53 owners. It includes no major changes or feature updates but offers more than 44 security fixes which can be crucial. This will add overall improvements to the system and security enhancements to protect your device from vulnerabilities or threats.
It’s nice to see that the Samsung Galaxy A53 has already received both the Android 13 and Android 14 OS updates officially. Therefore, the lucky owners will be able to enjoy a much better software usage experience with the latest stable Android 14 OS. In addition, this handset is still expected to receive two more major Android updates and three years of security patch updates.

In case, you haven’t received the OTA update notification yet, ensure to head over to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. It’ll automatically install the update. Wait for it to complete and then reboot the device to change effects.
