Samsung Galaxy A70s bags April 2021 security patch update

Last month, Samsung added Galaxy A70s into its Android 11 party. Now, It’s a new month and the device is receiving a new software update that brings April 2021 security patch. Samsung has even rolled out May 2021 security patch to several devices including the Galaxy S21 series, S20 series, and Note 20 series.

The latest update for Galaxy A70s is currently rolling out in India with firmware version  A707FDDS3CUD1. This is a minor security patch update and thus users will need to spend just 154MB of their internet data. Apart from system security improvements, the changelog does not mention any other changes. So, don’t expect to see some new features, performance boost, or UI changes.

Samsung Galaxy A70s April 2021 update

As per the official bulletin, April 2021 security patch for Samsung phones fixes 30 CVE’s (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) from Google and 21 CVE’s from Samsung. If you are a Galaxy A70s user in India and have not received the April 2021 security update yet, then manually check the status by heading to Settings >> Software updates, then tap on “Download and install“.

Samsung Galaxy A70s recently received One UI 3.1 (Android 11) update, which should have already reached to most of the users. The update brought loads of new features to the device which includes Chat bubbles, Object eraser, Private share, Auto buds switching, Eye comfort shield and more.
