The new OTA update for Galaxy M10 comes with firmware version M105YDXU7CUF2 for Philippines users, while the UAE users can identify the new build by version M105GDXU7CUF2. As this is just a minor security patch update, don’t expect to see UI changes or any improvements.

As announced by Samsung, the June 2021 security patch fixes 2 Critical, 27 High levels, and 5 Moderate levels Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) that enhance system security and privacy. The update may take a few days to reach all the Galaxy M10 units in the Philippines and UAE. In the meantime, users can manually check for the latest update by heading to Settings >> Software updates.

Samsung released the Galaxy M10 back in 2019 with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Since then, the device has received two major OS upgrades. As a result of which, the Galaxy M10 is running on Android 10. And, it is not eligible to receive any further major OS upgrades, Android 11 or above. However, the device will continue to receive security patch updates for a while.
