Another day and another update from Samsung.Now Samsung Galaxy S8 Starts Getting Android 8.0 Oreo Beta 4 OTA Update: Samsung has been releasing new smartphones in the Galaxy and the Note series every year as was done in 2017 also as the company released two new smartphones in the Galaxy S series and the Galaxy Note series. While the Galaxy Note series saw the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the Samsung Galaxy S series saw the company announcing the Galaxy S8 and the S8+. Now, these smartphones are the flagship smartphones from the company and the successors to the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge. Talking about the smartphones, we have known that these smartphones were launched with an edge-to-edge display named Infinity display by Samsung.
As far as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are concerned, the company announced this series with Android 7.0 Nougat on board along with the company’s TouchWiz UI which is a skin of Android found on every Samsung device. However, the smartphone was later updated to Android 7.1 Nougat which is the latest update for the device till now. Also, as we know that the latest update of Android has been released by Google named as Android Oreo named as Android 8.0, the update for this version of Android was expected to come to the Samsung Galaxy S8 devices.

Thus, the company released a beta program for the Galaxy S8 with Android 8.0 Oreo update and now, it is worth noting that the company has rolled out the latest update to this Android 8.0 Oreo beta and this version comes as Android 8.0 Oreo beta 4 update.The Android 8.0 Oreo beta 4 update for Galaxy S8 weighs in at 850MB.Also, note that this update will come to the Samsung Galaxy S8 devices which have been enrolled on the beta program available from Samsung’s official website and all of such devices will get the latest update as an OTA. Note that the stable release of Android 8.0 Oreo for Galaxy S8 is expected in January 2018.
You can manually check for the update from Settings > Software update >Download updates manually.If there is no update showing on your device, then wait for few days for the update to come to your device.Remember if you have been running the Oreo beta 3 and you are in UK then you will get the Oreo beta 4 update.
