Samsung released the March 2024 Security Update for Galaxy S21 Ultra

The South Korean tech giant Samsung has rolled out the latest March 2024 Security Update for Galaxy S21 Ultra in multiple regions. Initially, the company released the same security patch update for some other Galaxy models. Now, it’s time for the Galaxy S21 Ultra model that not only improves the overall device stability and performance but also brings a couple of bug fixes regarding the potential security risks.

As per the official March 2024 security bulletin by Samsung, it seems that the new security patch provides more than 40 security vulnerability fixes. Out of those, almost 37 fixes are added by Google itself to reduce security vulnerability exposures. Samsung has also resolved an issue with the incorrect default permission in Applock, bootloader conflicts, etc. However, it doesn’t include any major changes.

The OEM brought around 9 enhancements to its One UI software. We should also mention that all three Samsung Galaxy S21 series models have received this new patch update. Currently, it’s available in Malaysia and more countries will receive the same in the upcoming weeks. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup owners can check for the March 2024 security update via OTA.
