Samsung released the March 2024 Update for Galaxy A73 to bring security fixes

The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is one of the best-in-class mid-ranger smartphones that we’ve seen yet due to the performance ratio and stunning camera quality. It came with the Android 12 OS out-of-the-box and has already received the stable Android 14 OS update by the end of 2023. Recently, Samsung released the latest March 2024 update for Galaxy A73 to bring security fixes.

It looks like the handset will receive two more major Android OS updates in the upcoming years. Talking about the March 2024 security patch update, the Galaxy A73 is getting the firmware version A736BXXS6DXC1 in multiple countries such as Brazil, Malaysia, India, and other regions.

The specific software update comes with a package of around 299.04 MB in size to install the OTA update. Though the update doesn’t bring any major changes or features, the overall device stability and security vulnerability fixes have been included.

To be precise, more than 40 security fixes have been introduced in this March 2024 update where around 37 security fixes are included by Google itself. Luckily, Samsung has also brought multiple features to provide stability enhancements for the Galaxy devices.

Now, if you’re interested in installing the OTA update, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the update and wait for it to complete. Once done, reboot your Galaxy A73 device to apply changes.
