Samsung releases June 2022 security patch for carrier-locked Galaxy S20 in US

In the United States, Samsung is currently rolling out its June 2022 security update for the carrier-locked Galaxy S20 Series (Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra).

The security patch for the month of June 2022 is currently being rolled out by Samsung for the Galaxy S20 series. However, the update was already made available for the international variant a week ago. The company is currently in the process of rolling out the update to the variants of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra that are locked to specific carriers. The update includes the firmware versions G981USQU2FVF1, G986USQU2FVF1, and G988USQU2FVF1 for the three different carrier-locked variants, respectively.

The most recent update addresses over 66 security vulnerabilities that could compromise Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Samsung accounts, and other aspects of the system. Additionally, it includes improvements to the device’s stability as well as general bug fixes.
