Qualcomm which manufactures Snapdragon mobile processor launched its flagship processor Snapdragon 888 5G a few weeks ago. Many popular Android flagships have already been announced to have this chipset.
Xiaomi has already launched their Flagship Xiaomi Mi 11 with Snapdragon 888 5G in China. But here we will be discussing something more interesting. Xiaomi has shared Xiaomi Mi 11 Kernel source where two new Qualcomm CPUs codenamed Yupik and Shima were exposed.
As per some reliable sources, Shima uses Samsung’s 5nm EUV manufacturing process (5nm LPE), CPU is 1xARM Cortex-A78 + 3xARM Cortex-A78 + 4xARM Cortex-A55 octa-core configuration, GPU is Adreno 660. These two new CPUs may be from the upcoming Snapdragon 7 series processor.
We will have to wait for few more days for any official information regarding these new SoCs.
