How To Customize Active Edge On Pixel 2/2 XL With Edge Sense Plus

Customize Active Edge on Pixel 2/2 XL With Edge Sense Plus: Google launched the latest smartphone in the newly launched Pixel lineup by the company this year which has been named as the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Now, the smartphones from Google have been announced with all the latest features that are expected from a flagship smartphone from the company. Also, these smartphones come with a new feature that is the most interesting one known as Active Edge feature which was first seen on the HTC U Ultra and later came to all the HTC U series smartphones.

Talking about the Active Edge Sense feature, there is a sensitive touch panel that has been fitted on the sides of the Pixel 2 smartphones which detects a press or a squeeze from a user and triggers the appropriate action. Currently, there are very limited options that are available to a user when a user squeezes the phone but all of the users had been waiting for some alternative applications that can use the Active Edge feature of the Pixel 2 phones to add even more customization options and we now have an application available on the Google Play Store which does exactly the same.

Apart from that, The Edge Sense Plus application also allows additional G-Sensor functionality to let you perform different actions depending on your phone’s position: upright, flat, or in the landscape. Also, this application will allow double squeeze gesture which will let users apply pressure on the smartphone in different ways to avoid accidental opening of the apps.

All in all, we get 9 different gestures on the Active Edge Plus application so that we can use the Active Edge feature of the Google Pixel 2 smartphones in many different ways. This application can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and we have attached the link down below which you can download and install on your Pixel 2 smartphones.
