Apple Fixes Text Overlapping Bug in macOS with the Safari 17.3.1 Update

Apple is known for its active developments and for releasing patch updates to its devices for better improvements. Several reports surfaced in some forums about the text overlapping bug in macOS including Monterey and Venture editions.

Apple has released Safari 17.3.1 as a software update for macOS Monterey and macOS Ventura. This same kind of issue has also been spotted on iPhone & iPad devices.

The company has recently released the Safari 17.3.1 update for macOS where users experienced text overlapping issues even while typing on the keyboard. This is patched with macOS Sonoma 14.3.1, iOS 17.3.1, iPadOS 17.3.1, and even watchOS 10.3.1 versions. Whenever users face this bug, it seems the typed text disappears which becomes frustrating a lot.

Now, if you’re using the MacOS Venture or Monterey edition then you should install this update manually. The macOS Venture version users can head over to the Apple Menu > System Settings > General > Software Update. In case, a software update is available to you, install it. Wait for the update to complete and restart your Mac device.

While the MacOS Monterey users can check the Safari 17.3.1 update via the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Software Update. Then install the update and reboot the system to change the effects.

We should also mention that iPhone and iPad users can also check for the latest iOS 17.3.1 or iPadOS 17.3.1 update at their end. This will also fix the Safari text overlapping issue quite easily.
